Me, A Metal Detector?

Name: Josh

Scripture: Luke 15:1-10
1
Now the tax collectors and "sinners" were all gathering around to hear him. 2But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them."

OAP: This was a short reading so i picked a short passage. I was just thinking that if im truly acting like Jesus, people would be reacting the same way to me, muttering that i hang out with the wrong crowd. But they dont, cause i avoid the type of people Jesus would embrace. I actually make the same remarks that the pharisees make sometimes, looking down on those who hang out with the "outcasts" in my arrogance.

9"...Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin."

Prayer: Thank you for friends, God. Thank you for catching up with old friends youve lost, for getting to know new friends more intimately, for having close friends by your side through everything. Put a desire in my heart to pursue a relationship with those who need a friend, with those normally rejected by society, in spite of the what the world says about it. If it is your will, use me as a metal detector to find your lost silver coins God. I love you.
