A Case of the Mondays...

Name: Josh

Scripture: Luke 12:22-28
27"Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 28"But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith!

OAP: I love just looking at nature and the beauty of the earth God created. Flowers, clouds, mountains, beaches, trees, the moon and stars-there's always so much raw, unaltered beauty in all of it. Usually the prettiest places are those left untouched, unchanged as God made them. So if God will provide for me naturally as he does with these simple things, why do i try to alter my appearance or fret about what i look like? The end of verse 28 hit me pretty hard, as i admit to being a "man of little faith" in this issue. My eyes are closed to the blessings God provides and I seek my own ends, turning away and denying the perfection he sees in me.

Prayer: *Did it in my head*
